Add lyrics and the story behind your track
A collapsible Lyrics & story section on your smart link keeps fans on the page longer and gives them a reason to come back.
Anyone can read this guide. The tool it covers is part of the Studio and Lifetime plans.

Add your words
- Go to Dashboard → Smart Links, open the link, then open Studio tools → Lyrics & track story.
- Switch on Show lyrics & story, then write the story behind the song and paste your lyrics.
- Save. Fans see a Lyrics & story behind the track section they can tap open — it stays collapsed so it never pushes your streaming buttons down.
Tip: Two or three sentences about what inspired the song is plenty for the story.

Why it helps
- Fans who read lyrics while listening stay on your page longer and connect with the song — that connection is what turns a listener into a follower.
- The section also gives blogs and curators something to quote when they write about the release.

Edit or hide it anytime
- Update the text whenever you like — the live page changes as soon as you Save.
- Switch off Show lyrics & story to hide the section. Your text stays saved for later.
Watch out: Only add lyrics you own or have rights to publish.
