How to use the Claim checker to keep your promo copy honest

Paste your bio, release caption or ad text and AI points out claims you can't back up — then rewrites them for you.

  1. 1

    What the Claim checker does

    • AI reads your promotional copy and flags anything a reader could take as a fact you can't back up.
    • For each one it gives a plain-language reason, a low, medium or high risk rating and a rewrite you can use.

Watch out: It checks your words, not your numbers. It can't tell whether your stream count is real — only whether you said it in a way people can verify.

  2. 2

    Find it in your dashboard

    • Sign in and open Dashboard → Claim checker, in the sidebar under Tools.
    • It's included on every plan, so you don't need Pro to use it.

Tip: Keep your copy open in another tab so you can paste it in and paste the fixed version back out.

  3. 3

Paste the copy you're about to publish

    • Type or paste up to 5,000 characters: a Spotify or Apple Music bio, a release-day caption, a smart-link intro, an email blurb or ad text.
    • Paste the exact final version, including any numbers, quotes or playlist names you plan to keep.
    • Click Check my copy.

Watch out: You need at least 10 characters. If nothing comes back flagged, that's a good result — not a broken tool.

  4. 4

    Read the flags

    • A short summary at the top tells you how the copy reads overall.
    • Each flag shows the exact phrase, why it's a problem and a suggested rewrite.
    • High risk usually means invented numbers, fake-looking reviews, implied endorsements or guaranteed results. Medium is usually an unverifiable superlative like "best" or "#1".

Tip: Tap Copy suggestion under any flag to grab just that line.

  5. 5

Rewrite the whole thing in one tap

    • Don't want to edit line by line? Click Rewrite with AI and it rewrites your full text in your own voice, at roughly the same length.
    • Read it over, tap Copy rewrite and paste it back where the copy lives.

Watch out: The rewrite never invents facts. If a number you wanted is gone, that's on purpose — put it back only if you can point to a source and a date.

  6. 6

Check before you post, not after

    • Run it on the final version of anything public: bios, smart-link text, posts, ads and press emails.
    • Ad platforms reject the same phrases the checker flags, so a clean pass saves you a rejected campaign.

Tip: Checking a draft before you schedule the post is much faster than editing one that's already live.

  7. 7

    Know the limits

    • You can run about 10 checks every 10 minutes — if you hit the wall, wait a minute and try again.
    • Your text is sent to our AI provider to produce the review. It isn't saved to your account or published; only you see the results.
    • It's a helper, not legal advice, and you're still the one who decides what goes out.
